Scope of Work: Selective demolition and renovation work within the Hixson Community Center gymnasium. Scope includes demolition of four 6-foot-wide by 21-foot-tall door and window openings and approximately 24 square feet of existing athletic wood flooring. New construction includes four 3-foot-wide by 7-foot-tall single insulated hollow metal doors and frames with metal stud infill partitions, sheet rock backed by plywood on the interior, and an exterior insulated finish system. Replacement of damaged and removed wood flooring is included. Contractor must protect and secure the existing building and gymnasium wood flooring throughout construction. Phased construction is anticipated.
