Scope of Work:
The City of Gallatin is seeking a contractor to provide weekly lawn mowing and maintenance services for several Gallatin Public Utilities properties. Services will run from April through early November, with possible on-call mowing in November depending on weather conditions.
The selected contractor will provide mowing, weed trimming, and site cleanup services for the following locations:
- Gallatin Public Utilities Main Office – 229–249 Hancock Street (3.7 acres)
- Gallatin Water Plant – 1572 S. Water Avenue (3.79 acres)
- Maple Street Storage Tank – 350 Maple Street (5.87 acres)
- 1105 Langwood Drive – 0.049 acres
- 1104 Lakeshore Drive – 1.41 acres
Work includes mowing all grass areas weekly, trimming weeds during each visit, removing trash prior to mowing, and blowing debris from sidewalks and paved surfaces. Contractors must remove all debris from the site at the end of each service visit.
All work must be performed by skilled personnel in a professional manner. Contractor vehicles must be clearly marked with the company name, employees must be in uniform, and the contractor must maintain active insurance coverage throughout the contract period.
